Q1签证：指因家庭团聚申请赴中国居留的人员，申请人应为中国公民的家庭成员或具有中国居留资格的外国人的家庭成员；因寄养等原因申请入境居留的人员。在中国境内停留超过180日。

Q2 visa: For those who go to China for a short visit, the applicant should be the relatives of Chinese citizens living in China or the relatives of foreigners with permanent residence qualifications in China. Stay in China for no more than 180 days.
其次是S类签证。与Q字签证相比，S字签证实际上也涵盖了入境探亲的事由，但S字签证申请人的探亲对象必须是因工作、学习等事由在华居留的外国人。其他在华居留外国人，如持Q1字、S1字签证入境在华居留的外国人则不属此对象范畴。S类签证分为S1和S2签证。
